Lara is a director, acting coach and drama therapist. She lived in NYC for many years where she worked with theaters such as New Georges, Hangar Theatre Lab, Woodshed Collective, The Bridge Theatre Company, Manhattan Repertory Theatre, Village Playwrights, Culture Project and NYU. Since moving to LA she has worked with IAMA Theatre Company, Ensemble Theatre Company, Pasadena Playhouse, The Road, Skylight Theatre and The Elysian. Last year she launched DTX, a company through which she directs, devizes and produces new works using a trauma informed approach to autobiographical and therapeutic theater.
