Angela J. Davis is the author of The Spanish Prayer Book (The Road Theatre Company, 2019-20 Season, L.A. Times Best Bet), AGATHE (The Landing Theatre New American Voices Award), Clara and Serra and The Talking Bear (commissioned by Antaeus Theatre Company for the zip code series; produced digitally by Playhouse Creatures NYC), and Daughters of Love and War, among other plays. Named the 2020 Honorary Playwright in Residence for Playfest Santa Barbara, additional playwriting honors include: SETC Getchell Award, Marsha A. Croyle Award for Achievement in Playwriting, Playhouse Creatures Dr. R.J. Rodriguez Award, Eugene O’Neill semi-finalist (three times), HRC Showcase Official Selection (twice). Inger Tudor (Director) is also an actress, producer and poet. She has directed and assistant directed productions in New York and Los Angeles. Favorite credits include: “the blood of a hibiscus” (USC New Works Festival), “Ladyville” and “Terrorist is Spelled K-A-R-E-N” (The Road Theatre), Around-the-Clock Festival (Rogue Machine Theatre), “Crawl, Fade to White” (assistant director) and “Local Story” (Theatre of NOTE), “The View from Here” (The Actors Workout Studio), “My Children! My Africa!” (The Actors Co-op), and her very first directing project, “The Colored Museum” (HLS Drama Society—Best Director award). Inger is a graduate of Harvard College, Harvard Law School and London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art.
