SPF 12: The Restaurant Play
An innocent question posed at the start of a family dinner leads to a variety of unexpected conversations, confessions and one or two life-changing decisions. Also, there are brussels sprouts.
The Road Theatre’s reading will be the first for “The Restaurant Play.”
A Colorado native, Gibson is the author of “Someone Else’s Life,” co-winner of the 2005 Steven Dietz Original Playwriting Competition, and “Cross Words,” recipient of both the Chameleon Circle Theatre (St. Paul, MN) award for full-length play, 2016 and Vintage Theatre’s (Denver, CO) Mystery/Thriller Playwriting Competition, 2019. His plays have been performed in New York, Miami, Pittsburgh, Dallas, Owensboro, Memphis, Seattle, Tampa, Los Angeles, and in Great Britain at Leeds University and Cornwall.
