Four Latino boxers with world title aspirations try to make a better life for themselves and find the entrance to Heaven. To reach Heaven, however, requires they fight each other and the very universe itself before being allowed a chance to live their dreams.

Franky D. Gonzalez is a Latino playwright based in Dallas, TX. His work has appeared with The Lark, the Sundance Institute, the Ojai Playwrights Conference, the Latinx Playwrights Circle, the Great Plains Theatre Conference, Goodman Theatre, New Harmony Project, Repertorio Español, LAByrinth Theater Company, Ars Nova, Dallas Theater Center, the William Inge Theatre Festival, Teatro Vivo, Stages Repertory, Latino Theatre Company, Urbanite Theatre, LTC Comedy Carnaval, Seven Devils Playwrights Conference, HBMG Foundation, Tofte Lake Center, the Road Theatre Company, Antaeus Theatre Company, Clamour Theatre Company, NNPN, Ammunition Theater Company, Greenway Court, and the Cloud Factory. Franky was a recipient of an MTC/Sloan Commission, co-recipient of the MetLife Nuestras Voces Latino Playwriting Award, won the Crossroads Project Diverse Voices Playwriting Initiative Award, and the Judith Royer Award for Excellence in Playwriting. Recently Franky was named the 4 Seasons Resident Playwright, Bishop Arts Theatre Center’s Playwright-in-Residence, and a Playwrights Center Core Writer.

Denise Blasor is a Puerto Rican actress, director, writer, designer & was Artistic Director of LADiversified & currently Associate Artistic Director of Bilingual Foundation of the Arts. She has directed for over twenty-five years. Some of her favorites include the revival of Irene Fornes Fefu and Her Friends at the Odyssey Theatre (KCRW & LA Times best play) her adaptation of The Three Sisters at LATC, House of Bernarda Alba at the Barnsdall Gallery Theatre, Blood Wedding at BFA, Water by the Spoonful at San Francisco Playhouse.
She directed the Political Musical film Calle De La Resistencia which opened in Puerto Rico this spring. She also created the podcast Cristo Vive in both Spanish & English which recently won best Latino Podcast. She is now in production for the English versions of Tonantzin Guadalupe, Twelve Children Stories, & The Nutcracker for Guadalupe Radio.
She’s appeared extensively on stage as an actress & was last seen in Stephanie A. Walker’s The Abuelas at the Antaeus Theatre & in The Madres at the Skylight Theatre/Chicago’s Teatro Vista.
Film & TV credits include Antonia in A Place Among the Dead directed by Juliet Landau, Felicidad Noriega in Noriega: God’s Favorite with Bob Hoskins, Yerma/Margarita Xirgu in Death In Granada with Andy Garcia as Lorca, Huella directed by Gabriela Ortega which debuted at Tribeca & this year at Sundance. Recurring roles include Doña Rosa in Snowfall.
