A busy suburban mom communicates via text with her family about school fundraisers, the dinner menu, and all manner of logistics. Just as she masters her teen’s text lingo their lives are forever changed.

Clarinda’s plays have been published by Applause Theatre Books and The Kenyon Review, and produced at several Equity theatres. Her first play, “From My Grandmother’s Grandmother Unto Me” recently had its thirtieth production. Her screenplay, “Family Linen”, was a finalist for the NYWITF Lab series for women over forty sponsored by Meryl Streep. Her play, “Love, M.” was produced in Atlanta at Horizon Theatre’s New South Play Reading Series and nominated for the National New Play Showcase. She is an alumna of HBMG Foundation’s National Winter Playwright Retreat in Colorado. She is a member of AEA, SAG-AFTRA, and the Dramatists Guild. She teaches the Advanced Actors Workshop at LA City College’s Theatre Academy. Her family divides their time between California and North Carolina. She is increasingly sure greed is the problem.

Tally McCormack is an actor and producer and Road Theatre member since 2017. Recent credits include August: Osage County, The Flick, Rabbit Hole, After The Deluge, by John Patrick Shanley, and understudy in Beloved. Other creative credits at The Road include Producer (At The Table), Props Master (Red Speedo), and Assistant Director (Stupid Kid, Beloved) She is thrilled and grateful to be directing her first reading for SPF 14.
