Jess and Bev have been together longer than either of them thought they would be. And in their respective fields – Climate Change and Emergency Management – things are definitely heating up, affecting them in ways they didn’t see coming. ADAPTATION.RESILIENCE is a play about sustaining love and navigating grief in times of extreme disruption.

Jennie Webb is an LA-based playwright and dramaturg (she created the new play development program, Seedlings, at Will Geer’s Theatricum Botanicum) with works including “Currency,” “Yard Sale Signs,” “Smiling Cat Candy Heart,” “Remodeling Plans,” “Unclaimed Assets,” “On Tuesday,” “It’s Not About Race,” “Rebecca on the Bus,” “Brand New Script” and “Buying a House” produced locally by Inkwell Theater, Rogue Machine Theatre, EST/LA, Santa Monica Rep, Virginia Avenue Project, Theatre of NOTE and La Jolla Playhouse’s WOW Festival as well as in Canada, the UK, India and Iceland. Her plays have been developed and presented by Great Plains Theatre Conferences, The Playwrights’ Center, Moving Arts MADlab, Blank Theatre, Playground-LA, National Winter Playwrights Retreat, Little Black Dress INK Festivals, Protest Plays Project, PlagueWrites, Climate Change Theatre Action, Rogue Artist Ensemble’s Rogue Lab, Road Theatre Summer Playwrights Festivals and currently, “Under Construction” at the Road. Susan Diol (Actress/Director) has directed SUCKIN INJUN for the Fringe Fest, and numerous readings for The Road Theatre – GRACE OF GOD (SPF9), RECYCLING HAZEL, LOVE THROUGH THE CRACKS OF TIME, WHATEVER YOUR HEART DESIRES, THE COLD INSIDE, FOOD AND DRINK, KINDLING, and PLAYDATE (SPF). She directed the short films  TRICK OR TEA, I REMEMBER TREES, INTERNAL GRAFFITI, THE EASTERN WESTERN SINGER, and DEAR SUPERHERO through her company ZenGleam Filmz. Her play THE LIFE AND TIMES OF AGGIE MCGEE was in SPF 7.  She acted at THE ROAD in AKTIAG and MELISSA ARCTIC and many play readings. She performed in CAFE SOCIETY at the Odyssey, DEAD MANS CELLPHONE at ICT, and STATIONS at the Zephyr. OPERA COMIQUE at the Kennedy Center, YOU NEVER CAN TELL on Broadway, and TWELFTH NIGHT at Alaska Rep.  She has acted in over 50 guest starring roles on TV from SEINFELD to DAYS OF OUR LIVES to NCIS and STAR TREK, and many indy feature films.
