NORTH CAROLINA – A young anthropologist is sent to Ramoth – a small, God-fearing island off the coast of North Carolina – to document the town’s eroding shoreline. But as she digs deeper into the town’s past and a hurricane threatens Ramoth’s coast, the people of the town are forced to confront its corrosive past in hopes of protecting its future. RAMOTH is a play about truth, reconciliation, and the ongoing proliferation of catastrophic environmental phenomena.
