Destinee Stewart is an LA-based performer and filmmaker who made her Road Theatre debut in Steve Yockey’s Sleeping Giant as The Convert alternate.
She previously served as Assistant Director for High Maintenance and Robbin from the Hood.
Her credits include lead roles in Well Spoken and Holiday Anonymous, and directing The Other Partners, which premiered at the Academy-qualifying RiverRun International Film Festival.
Destinee is also a seasoned dub director, leading creative localization for international hits like Iron Chef: Brazil and Love is Blind: Sweden.

Destinee Stewart is a performer and filmmaker. As a performer, she has Her short films THE TRUTH OF US and BAGELS & COFFEE have enjoyed festival screenings worldwide. In 2021, Destinee was the recipient of the Cucalorus Writing Residency. Most recently, Destinee expanded her directing skills to dubbing as the creative lead on NETFLIX shows CHRISTMAS FLOW, IRON CHEF: BRAZIL, IRON CHEF: MEXICO, SUMMER JOB, REPRESENT, and the film IN HIS SHADOW.

When she isn’t directing, Destinee enjoys producing. Collaborating with BIPOC filmmakers, Destinee has produced the award-winning short films PREGGERS and COFFEE SHOP NAMES, the latter of which can be viewed on HBOMax.
