Vol. 1 – A Post Racial America follows in the tradition of George C. Wolfe’s The Colored Museum, with an assemblage of startling vignettes that lay bare America’s unfulfilled guarantee that “All Men are Created Equal” and the forgotten promise of an Obama-era post-racial America.

Vincent Terrell Durham – Playwright:


Vincent Terrell Durham is a playwright, author, and poet. His stage plays have entertained audiences from Los Angeles to the Catskills. He writes to pay honor to the Johnson family, the best storytellers a little Black boy could ever wish for. Vincent is a proud Dramatists Guild member.

Justin Lord – Director:

Justin Lord (Director) actor, play-write has directed several plays for The Roads’ Word series and Summer Play-Writes Festival (SPF8). Justin has two Adelco Award nominations. Also Nominated: Los Angeles Drama Critic’s Circle Award. He has directed at the Public Theatre, NY; Billie Holiday Theatre, NY; Public Theatre, NY; Working Stage, LA. National Black Theatre Festival 2009/2011. He serves on the Board of the famed Negro Ensemble Company (NEC). Has taught acting at The Academy of Dramatic Arts, Los Angeles. As an actor he has numerous film and television credits (Google it). He was a member of the original cast of “Division Street”, Mark Taper Forum, LA and Ambassador Theatre, Broadway. Justin is also a Fellow of the Lincoln Center Director’s Lab 2014, NY.
