It’s the eve of the Trojan War and Iphigenia, a sheltered yet tech savvy teen, has a hopeless crush on sixteen year-old Achilles, the hottest (future) warrior of all time. She adores her powerful father, disdains her protective mother, and worships vengeful Artemis, with a chorus of girls she met on GrapeVine. But when her father pulls her through that illusory looking glass with the false promise of a fairytale wedding she finds herself in a filthy military encampment with the Greek army clamoring for her death. Face to face with her father’s monstrous brutality, she races to make amends with her mother, save her baby brother, and seize a heroic moment of agency before facing the knife.

Hallie Palladino’s recent plays include A FATAL PLACE (developed at The Studio @ A Red Orchid Theatre 2025 and Mudlark Theatre). THE CLEANUP (premiered at Prop Thtr in 2022), THE PERSUADABLES (Centenary Stage Women’s Playwrights Festival 2021), DERAILED (2018 O’Neil semi-finalist), and INFATUATION (Ojai Playwrights Conference Writer in Residence 2017). Chelsea Gonzalez, a writer and director, was one of 8 fellows chosen for the inaugural Blumhouse & K Period Media Screamwriting Fellowship, in partnership with the Sundance Institute. Shortly thereafter, her feature screenplay Women in Jeopardy – a horror comedy about three women trapped inside genre films trying to escape – was optioned by Blumhouse. The film is currently in development.

As a director, Chelsea’s work has screened at over 100 film festivals worldwide, including Cinequest, Sarasota, and DeadCenter Film Festival. Her pilot, Legit Married, won Best Pilot at Dances with Films, and her short film Make the Call won Best Thriller at Nightmares Film Festival. She was also named Most Powerful Voice by Blackbird Film Festival for her debut short film, Susanne and the Man. Chelsea’s love of filmmaking began on the other side of the camera. Most recently, Franka Potente – famous to American audiences as the title character in Run Lola Run– selected Chelsea to appear in her feature film Home starring Kathy Bates. She can be seen on television in The Mindy Project, Criminal Minds, Castle, and The Jinx. She also had the honor of being chained to a stone slab and tortured in the Universal/Blumhouse feature Ouija: Origin of Evil. Chelsea creates work that takes a hard look at the darkest parts of ourselves and our society, while still cultivating laughter, heart, and suspense. Chelsea is a graduate of Syracuse University, lives in Los Angeles, and is represented by Untitled Entertainment.
