A Walking Shadow
A former stage legend, now unhoused and struggling with his mind, consumes himself in the role of King Lear to cope with life in a public park. When the city threatens eviction, he rallies a ‘troupe’ of fellow residents to stage the play as a protest, turning their survival into a performance. But as the bulldozers arrive, Ralph’s ability to distinguish between the stage and reality fractures, forcing him to confront the tragedy he has been acting out all along.
