Two elderly, queer breast cancer patients find love in the chemotherapy infusion room with the help of a young influencer documenting her own treatment for the world to see.

Andrea Berting is a playwright and screenwriter from Chicago, IL. Her dramedy feature, BREAST IN SHOW, won Best Original Comedy Feature at the Richmond International Film Festival, as well as earning her a position as an ISA Fast Track Fellow. She was also named one of NetworkISA’s Top 25 Screenwriters to Watch in 2024. The abbreviated version of Andrea’s romantic dramedy stage play RED DEVIL won the 2025 Meanwhile Park Playwright Prize, and received a performance in Salt Lake City. Her short play LITTLE KASIA MEETS THE GOD OF DEATH was a part of the Fargo-Moorhead Community Theater’s 10 Minute Play Festival. As a young breast cancer survivor who struggles with bipolar disorder, Andrea uses real-life experience to inspire women-centered stories about finding the joy and levity inside heartbreak and tragedy. Andrea received her BFA in Theater Education from VCU in Richmond, VA.

Directing Credits include five seasons of The Blank Theatre’s YPF & Living Room Series, Hollywood Fringe Fest, Rogue Machine’s Around the Clock Plays. Acting credits include Julius Weezer for the Troubies, Winter’s Tale at the Skylight, and TV pop ups in Abbot Elementary and The Shrink Next Door.
